From Sinner to Saint: Holiness Change My Life!

“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders?” Exodus 15:11

Have you ever felt like you were too far gone for God to love you? That your sin was too great, and your past was too dirty for Him to ever use you? If so, then this devotional is for you. You see, no matter who you are or what you’ve done, God can transform your life if you let Him. But, of course, you may be thinking, “How can that be? I’ve done some awful things.” And it’s true; we’ve all done things we’re not proud of. But the good news is that because of Jesus; our sin doesn’t have to define us.

Jesus’ death on the cross means that we can be forgiven and set free from our past. When we ask Jesus into our hearts, He gives us a brand-new start and makes us holy. I read a testimony from a woman named Sarah, who was once a wicked sinner. She drank, she cursed, and she slept around. But one day, something happened that changed her life forever. She read one of our (Maglife) daily devotionals that God used to show her the error of her ways. The devotion inspired her about God and how much He loved her.

2 Timothy 1:9 says, “Who saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of his purpose and grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began.”

Sarah said she was initially skeptical, but eventually, she became convinced. And so, she turned from her sinful ways and became a new person. Now, she is a devout Christian who also finds a passion for ministering the transforming power of holiness to others. Brethren, it is clear that holiness can change a life. It can help you to become a better person and to live a more fulfilling life. So, if you seek to improve your life, consider pursuing holiness. It may be just what you need to make positive changes in your life.

You might have made bad choices and done things you knew were wrong in the past. But I encourage you to come to Jesus today, who died on the cross because of sinners like you, to enjoy God’s presence. If you completely accept Jesus today, everything will start to change for your good. I trust God to turn your life around for His glory. Today, Sarah’s stories prove that holiness can change your life for the better. If you let God into your heart, He will change you too. Amen.1 Corinthians 6:20 says, “For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” Amen.
