God’s Written Epistle!

God’s Written Epistle!

“I, Paul, write this greeting with my hand. This is the sign of genuineness in every letter of mine; it is the way I write.” 2 Thessalonian 3: 17

God has always found a way to reach every generation; He has spoken words, has done mighty works, and has also written from centuries to centuries. So when we come to light according to the Gospel of John 3 verse 21, we become channels through which God reaches out to men, telling them of His desire, will, way, and His laws.

Apostle Paul admonished the Thessalonians to examine the letter he has written to them. In other words, there is the likelihood of letters within being altered and the message distorted. This could hamper the message being sent to the people as it concerns their needs. Like Paul’s letters with a seal or proof, God has also sent us His proof to ascertain the truthfulness of His message.

Psalm 19:8 says, “The precepts of the LORD are right, bringing joy to the heart; the commandments of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.”

God’s genuineness to us as His children is not debatable, but it is instructive to note that ‘like when men slept, the enemies could come and sow tares. The message of God we carry is sealed with the Holy Spirit’s signet, our universal similarity. Now, ask yourself this question; Are you carrying the valid message of the one who has sent you here?

Remember, as Christian, not all messages are true and right; we must be sure of what we consume and ensure that they are not harmful or innutritious to our bodies. Like Paul’s admonition to examine his signature, we have the right to test all spirits, whether they are true or false. Do not let anything infiltrate or alter the true message you are carrying. So that you may be found worthy when the integrity test is conducted on you. 1 John 4:1 says, “Beloved, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

Prayer:
1. Psalm 119:140; Thank you, Father, because your promise is completely pure; therefore, I love it.
2. Father helps us keep track of ourselves in the right message we have received and heard as we also dispense it to others in Jesus’ name.
