Heal the Broken Hearted!

“Let him know, that he which converted the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.” James 5:20.

Do you like to transfers aggression to the people around you? Do you find it easier to condemn people that are not up to your standard? Can your action be considered as healing or an attack on someone’s dignity? If your answer is yes or no, please read further to learn more.

When you see someone like David, who was in danger but yet finds a way to help others that are in need or have been hurt by others, that kind of person is worthy of honor, promotion and respect in God’s eyes and should be emulated by people. David was hiding in a cave when some people came to him, including his relatives, who were in distress, debt, and discontented. Guess what? Instead of him to chase them away, he helps them through his leadership skills. 1 Samuel 22:1-2.

Though you might not have the skill like David, you can still put a smile on someone’s face and make them feel better in this season of their life. It is crucial to know how much you can do for others, not what they can do for you. Act like an angel to those around you, and show them the love of God. Be that kind of person who can give a helping hand to someone who needs it as our Lord Jesus Christ, as shown us.

The world will never forget your kindness and compassion when you touch the broken-hearted people. It is always good to remember that Jesus Christ did the same thing for us; he gave us life even when he was hurting. He forgave sinners when he was being persecuted for wrongful convictions and sin. He set the captives free even when he was held captive. Proverbs 11:30 says, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”

Prayer:
1. Father let the love for my neighbors grow in my heart day by day
2. The spirit of the lord that was upon Jesus to heal the broken-hearted, rest upon me now in Jesus name. Amen (Luke 4:18)
