Heaven’s Intervention on Earth!
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23
Divine Mercy is limitless and available to everyone. God’s mercy extends to anyone in any situation as far as they believe. God’s mercy is a divine attribute that is extended to humanity. In Christian theology, God’s mercy is seen as an essential component of His character, with some theologians going so far as to say that it is one of the defining aspects of who God is. Mercy is a key part of God’s love for humanity, and it is something that He extends to us even when we do not deserve it. Are you looking for God’s mercy in your life?
Divine Mercy is Heaven’s intervention on Earth, but you must believe and be key to it. I read a story of a certain man who has been renovating his home for months, and he was running out of cash to complete the project. The current home-owner already gave him a quit notice to move out of the house, and the move-out day is fast approaching. So instead of him to start complaining or crying over the situation, he decided to pray and reminded himself of Isaiah 43:1-5.
Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”
While praying, he asked God for divine mercy and heaven’s intervention. Immediately after he finished the prayer, His phone rang; his brother said, “I just have it in mind now to come and spend the weekend with you and your family before I return to duty…” He replied, yes, of course, I am available. When His brother came and listened to their situation, he was moved with compassion. Not only did he help with money, but he also assisted the family in renovating the new house for immediate move-in condition.
I don’t know what condition you are facing right now, but I can tell you this: God is always there for you to help you. Lamentations- 3:22-23. “It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassion fails not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness!” If what you are going through did not consume you yesterday, last week, last month, or even today, then the mercy of God is available for your case today and forever in Jesus’ name. Amen. Titus 3:5 says, “God saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Psalm 145:1; LORD, I extol you for the opportunity you gave me to see and enjoy the new day of my life in your mercy and grace.
2. Zechariah 3:4; Oh Lord of Mercy, change my raiment from failure to success; from mess to mercy; and clothe me with your grace in the name of Jesus. Amen.
