How Praising God Changes Life! Part Two

“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.” Psalm 34:1

Praising God changes lives. This is a conclusion that many people come to after witnessing the direct impact that praising God has on their lives. The experience of being filled with thanksgiving allows us to see our life in a new light, and it often leads to changes we never thought possible. Praise is a powerful tool of encouragement. It builds people up and confuses the enemy. When we are filled with thanksgiving, our outlook on life changes, and we often make changes that radiate for other people to see.

When we focus on who God is in our life, we begin to build up an identity of righteousness that attracts blessings from our Heavenly Father. For example, Paul and Silas praised God in prison, and they were miraculously set free. Their faith attracted the presence of God, and they received His favor. We can also experience this same blessing by focusing on who God is in our lives. When we align our thoughts with who He is, we can expect to see Him move in powerful ways in our lives. So let’s confess His goodness and praise Him for all that He has done for us!

Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

It’s not always easy to praise God in a bad time, but if we don’t allow our circumstances to stop us, it becomes easier to praise God in the good times and bad times. Because we all know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28); Therefore, don’t give up your joy, happiness, or peace when things go wrong. Instead, be thankful for what you have and remember that there is still a much better life ahead of you.

It’s okay to feel sad for some moment, but don’t let it get you down. Instead, focus on God and build up an identity of righteousness that attracts blessings from our Heavenly Father. Remember, Paul and Silas were prisoners in prison and praised God despite their circumstances; the Bible says that “the earth shook and the prison doors flew open” (Acts 16:25-26). Their faithfulness to praise even in difficult times led to them being released from prison. Therefore, I encourage you to have faith that things will get better and Praise Him through it all. Amen. Ephesians 5:20 says, “always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Prayer:
1. Praise God.
2. Isaiah 25:1 – Oh Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful, and sure.
