If You Believe, You will Receive!
“Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?” John 11:40
In the Gospel of John’s eleventh chapter, Jesus speaks to Martha after her brother Lazarus has died. He tells her that if she believes in him, she will see the glory of God. This verse is significant because it shows the power of faith. Even amid death and despair, Jesus brings hope to Martha by telling her that her brother will rise again. This verse also reminds us that we should believe in Jesus, even when things seem hopeless.
Today’s Bible verse is an important concept because it shows that we have the ability to control our destiny. If we believe that we can do something with God, we will be able to do it. This is a great message for people who are trying to achieve their goals before the end of this year. What you believe determines who you are and whom you will become. If you believe in God, then you are not limited by humankind’s nature because God is the one who created all things and everything that exists. However, if you only trust in humanity like you, then you might end up trapped by man’s power.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Therefore, we must be careful about whom we lean on. We all sinned; we all fall short of God’s excellent standard. We deserve some punishment. Instead, God, the Father, sent His only Son into the world so that whosoever believes Him (Christ) will be redeemed, saved, and enjoy an abundant life. Christ came for salvation, and he did live the sinless life because of you and me; he shows us how to believe and serve a living God. In Luke 23:41, “We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.” He died for our sins, taking upon himself the penalty that we deserve.
Ephesians 1:7-8 says, “In Him, we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding.” If you believe in your spirit that Christ alone is your Savior, declaring, Jesus is Lord, ” you can be saved from judgment and spend eternity with God in heaven. Amen. 1 John 5:12 says, “Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” Amen.
