In One Accord!

“Complete my joy by agreeing, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.” Philippians 2:2

The steps of every person are ordered by the LORD, who takes delight in our journey. He is the one who brings out all things in order. When we walk with Him in truth and the spirit, He perfectly releases the vitality of growth and the living energy to bring us into a state of wholeness. He is the one who gives us the strength and confidence to carry on our path.

We cannot do it alone. We must rely on each other’s support and encouragement to keep going and continue to grow. We need each other’s help and guidance in this life; to be strong and courageous in our faith. Remember, iron cannot sharpen iron if it doesn’t come in contact with each other (the owner must hold onto his or her power and influence).

1 Corinthians 3:7 says, “So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.”

We are all connected by the same source- God. He is the one who brings us together in a way that no one else can so that we can fulfill our purpose and make a difference in the world. We can see Paul and Apollos’s effort, I mean, their labor is physical to the eye, but there is a God whom we can’t see but does the entire work.

Our togetherness in one accord is the capacity for the things of God and our spirit so that God can make an increase. Therefore, as you go out today, do your part and see God in everything. The certain result seems like we produced them, but sincerely, God made it possible. God’s will is to bring us together in this life, not divide us into separate groups. Romans 15:6 says, “That together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Prayer:
1. Oh Lord, grant me the heart that functions in one accord for your glory.
2. Holy Spirit’s move me from my self-centered ways of thinking to a more loving way of living in Jesus’ name. Amen.
