Know your God!
“For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” Matthew 24:5
Knowing your God helps you to be aware of His faithfulness, kindness, promises, and love towards you without been fooled by false beliefs. There are beneficiaries of this kind of faith in knowing Him. It is a way to live a life that increases the fire of God’s love in our heart, not the love that grows cold.
Jesus was sitting at the Mount of Olives. The disciples came to Him and asked him about the signs of the end time. They wanted to know when and how Jesus will return. “And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you” vs4. In other words, there will be deceivers, and that is a sign of the end time.
Matthew 7:15 says, “Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”
Jesus perceives that these things are evolving in the world now. In the end time, people will disguise to look like ‘the way,’ but Jesus warning the disciples to be careful of fake ways. Usually, every genuine and unique product will have its fake. And the fact that people have bastardized any unique product doesn’t mean the original one doesn’t exist. But our diligent search for the truth in the word of God will help us know the truth.
Every individual in Christ is responsible for a distinct and continuous knowing of God’s word, which is where our knowledge of who God is can be found. Until you have a personal revelation of who God is, you won’t be able to decipher the deceiver when they show up. Know your God. I’m not confused about what He says about me. I’ve found Him, and He became more real to me from the word of God. He speaks to me and shows me things to come in His will. Ephesians 1:17 says, “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.”
Prayer:
1. Lord, help me to know you more. I desire to hear from you at all times.
2. Oh Lord, you are my shepherd, and I am your sheep, guide me in every way in Jesus’ name. Amen
