Leaping Into Uncharted Territories: Destination 2023

“And without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

Take a leap of faith and embrace the unknown. It’s time to explore and discover the beauty of uncharted territories. The future is always uncertain because the world is still uncertain of what the future holds, and it’s natural to feel a sense of wanderlust and anticipation for what lies ahead. But that doesn’t have to stop us from dreaming. Proverbs 11:14 says: “Where there is no guidance, a people fall, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.” Where we will be in 2023 depends on what we do today. So it’s important to think carefully about our life goals and plans for the future.

It is never too early nor too late to plan for the future. Some people already had all this plan ready a few months or years ago. I am not asking you to write off 2022 because there are still plenty of opportunities for us to take advantage of in the coming days. But let us start thinking about where we want to be in 2023. Though these questions may seem impossible to answer now, they are worth considering as we move into the New Year. To ensure a bright future, you must remain open-minded and look ahead to what 2023 has in store for you.

Luke 14:28 says, “For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?”

There are different tools to create your plan to help you think through your goals and dreams as the year 2023 approaches, but you can start with visualization. Visualization is forming mental images or pictures to plan ahead and stay focused on the desired outcome. It helps us create a clear path for future success and enables us to set meaningful goals. Many successful entrepreneurs have used visualization throughout history as a powerful tool for achieving desirable outcomes. With its power to help focus our minds on achieving our goals and dreams, we can gain insight into 2023. As Proverbs 19:22 states, “What is desired in a man is kindness…”

By visualizing our desired results, we set ourselves up for spiritual and financial success because it’s where the greatest adventures reside! So visualize what kind of lifestyle you want for yourself, what activities you’d like to engage in, whom you would like as your support system, and the impact you’d like to make on your community and the world. Finally, how do you want your relationship with God? Investing time to visualize these dreams will help ensure they become a reality by 2023. I pray that God will give you a vision as you plan in Jesus’ name. Amen. James 4:17 says, “Remember, it is a sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.”
