Learn to Win!
“For the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity.” Proverbs 24:16
Perseverance is a mindset that can be learned and practiced. If it is a matter of luck or chance, we don’t need to worry or talk about it. Because there is something we need to learn to become a better person and stronger, it’s not easy, but with time our minds will change, and we’ll start to see things differently.
You may be intimidated by other people’s stories of how they started. Some of the stories in the bible might sounds instants and easy like this: “Abraham believed God, he was made righteous.” So easy, right? Well, until you start learning about Abraham before you know what he did and how he wrestles with God’s plan.
Psalm 32:2 says, “Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.”
However, till today Abraham is known as the father of faith. Yet, it took God seven times to tell Abraham the promise before Abraham fully believed the promise. Now, I’m not saying that you should let your faith be washed away or that you shouldn’t believe in God. It’s just that we need to learn how to overcome our weaknesses and keep going when things seem hopeless.
We have to learn how to trust God and his promises, even if we keep wrestling in our minds with what he has promised us. It’s okay to say that you don’t know everything about God, but at least you can try to understand him better and love Him more. We must also remember that God is faithful and will always give us a chance to repent from doubt and fear. John 14:1 “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; also believe in me.”
Prayer:
1. Dear Lord, I pray, help me to learn the ways that please you.
2. Psalm 25:4 “Make me know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.” in Jesus’ name.
Wish this ministry the hands of God and the banner of His peace!!
Amen
