Living Rightly!
“And of His fullness, we have all received, and grace for grace.” John 1:16
Glory be unto God forever, for the gift of our Lord Jesus Christ, whose substitutionary sacrifice has brought redemption to humanity. Christ has redeemed us from all negativity and gave us all things in His light. But cDeep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.\”an you ask yourself: Am I maximizing all that Christ represents in my living? This requires deep thought and a thorough examination of your life as a whole.
One way to remain grateful to God for His inexplicable love and Jesus’ finished work is by living life in the measure of Christ’s fullness. Life’s given to us, and the way to live has been communicated to us by our text today. Do you believe in receiving Christ’s fullness through grace and faith?
John 1:12 says, “But as many, as received Him, to them, He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.”
The benefit of the power given is to live in the fullness of Christ Himself. As sons of God, being led by the Spirit of God Himself, we are always required to crave and live for the fullness of Christ. Christ is the fullness of God. He was made flesh so that we can access the full portion of God lost in the fall that we have lost in sin. This is why it’s important to remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
Can you take a critical look at your life today and see for yourself the lesser measure you are in. Never be contented with the ‘less’ of what the fullness of Christ offers you. You are to receive of His fullness and live in the fullness received. There is grace made available to start the journey of living in the fullness of God through Christ, that you may live your life to the fullest. Psalm 42:7 says, “Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.”
Prayer:
1. Lord Jesus, thank you because it is a great joy to know that you have the fullness of joy through you.
2. Lord, I plunge and plug my life into your fullness today and forever.
