Do I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” says the LORD. “Do I close up the womb when I bring to delivery?” says your God. Isaiah 66:9
In one of my seasons of waiting, I found myself yearning for the manifestation of promises spoken over my life. It was during this time that I stumbled upon the story of Elizabeth, who, after years of barrenness, was blessed with the miraculous birth of John the Baptist. Her testimony reminded me that what God conceives in us, though it may take time to mature, is always poised to overflow with purpose and potential once the appointed moment arrives.
Scripturally, we find this truth echoed in Isaiah 66:9, where God assures us, “Will I bring to the moment of birth and not give delivery?” Just as Elizabeth experienced the joy of receiving her promise in the ninth month, we too can anticipate the fruition of divine dreams. Habakkuk 2:3 encourages us, “For the vision is yet for an appointed time,” urging us to remain steadfast in our faith as we await our season of delivery.
Isaiah 66:6 says, “When it was time for Elizabeth to have her baby, she gave birth to a son.”
Dear reader, God has promised that He will not bring you to the brink without deliverance. So, what dreams has God placed within you? Whether it’s a dream of healing, restoration, or purpose, know that it is due. As you await the manifestation of His plan, I encourage you to examine your heart, release your fears, and declare boldly that your season of birthing is now. Just as Elizabeth clung to faith through her long wait, so too must you prepare yourself for what is to come. Let the spirit of expectation swell within you; trust that God’s promise for you is on its way!
I declare over you that the vision God has planted in your heart shall blossom! Just as Elizabeth became the mother of a miracle, so shall you hold the testimony of divine promises realized. Know that every prayer you have uttered is being heard; your faith, like hers, is preparing the way for this birth. May the Holy Spirit guide you daily, breathing life into every dream that aligns with God’s purpose for your life. Amen. Hebrews 10:37 says, For, “In just a little while, He who is coming will come and will not delay. Amen.
Prayer for the Day!
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the vision and the promise You have placed within us. Midwife my promise, Lord; let it manifest without miscarriage. May we rejoice in the fullness of Your timing and grace. We give You all glory for the great and mighty things You are about to do. Holy Spirit, thank You for Your nurturing presence — lead us to the birth of our dreams and ambitions. “Lord, bring forth what You conceived in me!” I sense a stirring. It’s time. Your vision for me is ripe and ready — my due date has arrived. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
