“Who art thou, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.” Zechariah 4:7
In the stillness of the dawn, as the sun stretches its fingers across the horizon, I sense a divine anticipation that fills the air. I can hear the morning light whisper promises of breakthrough that pierce through the shadows of doubt and fear. So, today, I believe for those who have been longing for God’s presence, He will surely sweep away every hindrance that keeps us from His perfect plan. As we stand at the threshold of our journey and cry out: “Lord, silence every gatekeeper of resistance!”
The Word anchors our faith; Zechariah 4:7 reminds us, “Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel, you shall become a plain.” God has promised to level our obstacles, just as He did for the Israelites at Jericho. Just as the walls of that fortified city crumbled, so too will the stumbling blocks in our lives vanish before the might of the Almighty. Isaiah 45:2 assures us, “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 says, “The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
Imagine for a moment the weight of a mountain lifting from your chest. What dreams have been delayed, what promises forgotten? Perhaps you face illness, financial troubles, or a lack of direction. Today is the day to rise in faith. Remember the story of Joshua and the fall of Jericho. They marched in silence, but with faith, they saw the walls come crashing down. Today, everything that troubles you shall crash in Jesus name. But trust in God’s power to bring about transformation in your own life. As the mountains melt away, your faith will become a beacon of hope for others.
As we boldly declare that every barrier bows and every gate yields, I speak over you right now: This is your season of breakthrough in your finances, your relationships, ministries, business or career! Every chain that has held you captive is breaking. Faith in action is stepping forward even when the ground looks shaky, just as the Israelites did. Trust in God’s promise and let your heart overflow with hope and possibility today. Amen. Psalm 24:8 says, “Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.” Amen.
Prayer for the Day!
Heavenly Father, thank You for hearing our cries. We lift our spirits to You, asking that You level every iron bar and straighten every crooked place before us. Holy Spirit, empower us to walk in faith, breaking through resistance with the assurance of Your presence. In Jesus name, we claim our victories! Amen.
