“You crown the year with Your bounty; Your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.” Psalm 65:11

Faithful Father, we pause in gratitude for Your presence that has carried us this far and will guide us through every day ahead. As this new year unfolds, teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Order our steps, purify our motives, and align our plans with Your will. Lord, make this year a canvas for Your glory. Where we are anxious, anchor us in Your peace. Where we are weary, strengthen our hands. Where we are uncertain, grant us discernment and courage. Let Your Word be our daily bread and Your Spirit our constant guide.

Bless our families, friends, and communities with health, provision, and peace. Give us compassion for the hurting, courage to do what is right, and strength to persevere in trials. Help us forgive quickly, love deeply, and serve generously. May our work be fruitful, our rest be restorative, and our words bring life. Lord, shape our character to reflect Jesus — fill us with patient love, joy that endures, peace that disarms fear, and gentleness that heals. Teach us to steward our time, gifts, and resources for purposes that matter eternally. Help us to forgive quickly, speak truth graciously, and serve others with humility.

Psalm 90:12 says, “So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.”

Where there has been loss, bring comfort; where there is uncertainty, give clarity; where there is fear, grant Your perfect peace. Make us instruments of Your justice and mercy, lights that reflect the hope of Christ in every place You send us. Lord, bless our homes with unity, our work with integrity, and our communities with compassion. Open doors we could not open and close the ones not meant for us. In trials, refine us; in victories, keep us humble; in all things, make us faithful.

We dedicate 2026 to You — our plans, our resources, our time, and our hearts. Crown this year with Your goodness, and let Your presence be our greatest joy. Lord, we entrust 2026 into Your hands, confident that You are already in every tomorrow. Lead us, Lord. We will follow. Amen. Isaiah 43:19 says, “Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer for the Day!

Brethren, I pray for you — that the Lord crown this year with His goodness, order your steps, and surround your homes with peace. May your minds be sound, your bodies strong, your work fruitful, and your relationships restored. May the doors He opens remain open, and the burdens you carried be lifted. May wisdom guide you, courage steady you, and joy be your strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
