Loyalty is the Key!
“And if you have not been faithful with other people’s things, who will give you what is your own?” Luke 16:12
Our lives, time, money, and everything are created and given to us by God. In the real sense, there’s nothing humankind can boldly affirm of their own; God gave them all to us, He made us managers of every other thing on earth. In other words, we are stewards on earth.
Stewards are not the house’s original owners; we have just been placed in charge of maintaining and managing them. God is at all-time observing each of our activities on earth. He is watching how efficient and effective we manage the things He has made us stewards over, and His ability to give us more depends largely on how we manage the one in our hands.
Proverbs 28:20 says, “A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.”
In the scripture, we read about people who took God’s word seriously. Abraham and Moses are good examples of men who were faithful to God. They lived faithfully and trusted God for all. This was possible for them because they knew God gave them all they have and for them to get more, they have to be faithful. Faithfulness is extremely necessary for all stewards.
If we desire to have our full inheritance, loyalty is a key requirement. We need to pay attention to all things in our lives, never say it’s very small. Or don’t attach being faithful with money alone. Everything we have is worthy of being used efficiently, even our time. Until we can be faithful with God’s properties, He won’t hand over our true life to us in His kingdom. 1 Corinthians 4:2 says, “It is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.”
Prayer:
1. Help me to be faithful with you, Lord.
2. Holy Spirit, help me in my journey to walk with God in Jesus’ name.
