“Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.” Psalm 37:3
As we welcome the month of May, we pray that it brings us joy and peace in abundance. This month signifies new beginnings, fresh starts, and renewed hope. It is a time to shed off the old and embrace the new with open arms. In 2 Timothy 1:7, it says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.” So, as we step into this new month, let us remember that we have been blessed with the power to break forth from any chains holding us back.
Believe it or not, a miracle awaits you this May! A miracle could be anything from a breakthrough in your career to healing from an illness or even reconciliation with loved ones. Whatever it may be, know that miracles are real, and they do happen every day. All you need is faith as small as a mustard seed to move mountains. If you ever felt stuck in a rut or felt like you were going through the motions of everyday life but not really living it fully. There’s good news for you.
Ephesians 2:8 says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
According to Isaiah 58:8-12, a miracle awaits those who seek God with all their hearts. God promises to make “your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard. Then you will call, and the LORD will answer; you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I. “If you do away with the yoke of oppression, with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.
Verse 11-12 says, “The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. In Jesus’ name. Amen. So trust in yourself and in God’s plan for your life. Amen. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth!” Amen.
Prayer:
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” (Romans 15:13). Amen.
