No Fear, God is Ahead of You! 2
And the LORD answered, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” Exodus 33:14
God is our refuge, our refuge from all that is evil and darkness. Those who understand this will find peace in Him. They will be comforted and have joy like a river. However, if anyone wants to operate in constant peace, such a person must first trust God because trust is a treasure in God’s heart.
Remember, even the Promised Land that the Israelites were heading to did not look stress-free. The land had occupants already that they were supposed to defeat and overthrow for them to take over. They had strongholds to bring down, and that was going to take time and strength. But God reassured them that He would drive out nations before them. Eventually, He did, and those who believed in him came to victory.
Romans 4:16 says, “Therefore, the promise comes by faith so that it may rest on grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.”
Did God promise you anything? I am sure the answer is yes but don’t worry, He is a promise keeper. God that has been there for the Israelites and made nations and their enemies afraid of them is still alive. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God has never failed, and He will not start now as He has promised in His Word that He will go before you and will be with you. So hold God by His words, and be rest assured.
What you need right now is faith in His word, hope in His promises, and the trust that binds you to God. Don’t let your fear of the unknown stop you from trusting the know God with all your heart. You have to keep believing and trusting him with all your soul, mind, and spirit. Don’t let the signal and the call of trust be lost in the noise of life. So, I encourage you to raise the bar of your faith. Psalm 37:5-6 says, “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light and your justice as the noonday.”
Prayer:
1. Dear Lord, thank you for your steadfast love and faithfulness.
2. Oh Lord, I pray that you continue to bless me with the strength and wisdom I need to trust in you.
3. Luke 17:5; Lord Jesus, increase my faith and give me the courage to walk in obedience.
