No Guilt, All glory: Accept God’s Forgiveness!
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9.
We all mess up. We all make mistakes. Not only that, but we all do things we regret. And we all need forgiveness. But do you allow God to take control, or do you allow feelings (EGO) to be in charge? Where do you go for forgiveness when you need it? I hope you know that forgiveness is a gift from God. He is always waiting to forgive us when we come to Him with a humble heart. All we must do is confess our sins and ask for His forgiveness. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
God is always there for us, ready to forgive us and help us start again. All we have to do is let Him lead. It is human nature to feel anger, resentment, and bitterness towards others who have wronged us. But with God, He already made a pathway to forgive us through Romans 5:8, which says, “but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Therefore, harboring negative feelings of unforgiveness will only harm us more in terms of spiritually and emotionally.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
The Bible tells us to embrace God’s forgiveness (Romans 8:32), therefore, do not allow your feelings to control you; instead, allow God to direct your path. It is important to remember that unforgiveness is not of God because He desires for us to have a heart of forgiveness and to release the negative emotions we are harboring. When we embrace God’s forgiveness, we acknowledge His power to forgive us and commit to forgiving others. Also, it is a way to remind us that we are not forgiven because we deserve it, but rather because God is merciful and gracious.
Therefore, we should be grateful for His forgiveness and seek to live in a way that pleases Him. When you need forgiveness, it is important to let God lead. By doing so, you are relinquishing control and allowing God to lead your life. This can be a difficult thing to do, but it is essential to growing closer to God. When you let God lead, you open yourself to His grace and mercy. You are also setting an example for others who may need forgiveness. Amen. Psalm 103:12 says, “As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for all that you have done for me. I am thankful to God for my salvation and my salvation from sin. I am grateful for the love of Christ that has been given to me by Jesus Christ.
2. Father, I pray that you grant me the strength to overcome my enemies of failure to repent of my sins in Jesus’ name. Amen.
