OBEDIENT Life is a Necessity for Greatness.
“Thus saith the LORD of hosts; If thou wilt walks in my ways, and if thou wilt keeps my charge, then thou shalt also judge my house, and shalt also keep my courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.” Zechariah 3:7
God’s love is for everyone, just like the waterfall, His passion doesn’t change, but our job in character will radically change the outcome His passion has at our lives. Obedience puts you in ideal alignment with God’s perfect purpose.
Everyone desires to be a leader in their own area of life. Many people even confess it daily, and yet it seems as if it’s not coming forth. The word of God says that it is God that elevates and abase. He decides who to promote and also, to demote. He lifts up slaves to sit with kings and princes, and He can downgrade kings to slaves.
However, before God promotes anyone to a great place, He looks for a particular thing in their lives, which is obedience. A man that is obedient and fear God is a man who keeps His words and commandment. Such a man walks in His ways, will always keep His words and will not do contrary or whatsoever he likes.
Before God elevated Joseph, David, Daniel, and all great vessels of God according to the Holy Scripture, they passed the test of being sincere and obedient to God and His word. When a man has a fear of God in him, he obeys all His words and doesn’t care about what people will say, but what God will say is his priority. God always set apart Godly men for His purpose, glory, and greatness in every generation. If we want to be a useful and loving vessel of God, we need to learn to obey and be totally committed to His word.
OBEDIENT Life is a Necessity for the greatness of mind. We must be obedient to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who was crucified on the cross for us and save us from eternal damnation. We must stand by His instruction. “Know that the LORD has set apart the godly for Himself; the LORD will hear when I call to Him.” Psalm 4:3
1. Thank God for today’s blessings and the blessing of salvation.
2. Father, I know it’s your will for me to be great, give me the grace to be obedient to you at all time.
3. Psalm 27:7 Hear, O LORD, my voice when I call; be merciful and answer me. In Jesus name.
