Overcome the World! 3

Unfaithful people! Don’t you know that to be the world’s friend means to be God’s enemy? If you want to be the world’s friend, you make yourself God’s enemy. James 4:4

Being an unbeliever, the devil might make things easier to achieve by applying the world strategies and styles – darken counsel. But as a Christian, because you do not follow their ways, they will seek your downfall. Be guarded; do not cherish its ways and things. Desire and accept only what God gives.

Have you been frustrated by such an experience and have grumbled at God? You must know that Christians whose convictions are drowning day after day are living in constant perplexity, confusion, frustration, and grudging Christian lifestyles. Constantly worries about the things of the world and searching for answers in the wrong ways cannot help but leads people astray, which leads to more trouble.

The occult or secret society you join today because of instant wealth or solution to that problem cannot help but make you miserable. It is fast promising, but it is also a trap for your authentic destiny and soul purpose that God has given you to live. Therefore, be careful with what you do and how you embrace the things that lead to misery.

Never allow the temptation or wrongful desires of the world to choke you and keep you from living life to its fullest. Remember, Christ has brought you victory and peace through his death on the cross. Therefore, never let go of the Captain of your salvation, because in him find the abundant life and peace. Christ’s victory is your victory “because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith ‘in Christ Jesus.’ 1 John 5:4

1. Thank you, Jesus, for all victories that you have won for my peace.
2. In the name of Jesus, you are victorious over every obstacle that stands in your way.
