“Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him: fret not thy self because of him who prospered in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Psalms37:7
Success is like a puzzle that requires each piece to be placed with patience and care to see the complete picture. Patiently waiting on the Lord to see your business grow always results in a satisfactory outcome. The results are always very rewarding, but most of the time, many of us are not usually patient enough to see and enjoy this reward. Waiting comes with a cost, and it pays to pay the cost. The cost of waiting on the Lord is about the willingness to trust Him and the ability to endure.
To wait on the Lord means to have a strong belief in the Lord without wavering, to be focused, to be obedient to His word, and to be steadfast and persistent. Waiting on the Lord helps to make you stronger. Isaiah 40:31 says those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like the eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall run and not faint. This implies that because of your complete trust in Him, He will keep nurturing you until your fulfillment. He will keep nurturing and sustaining you until your great expectations come to reality.
Psalm 37:34 says, “Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off.”
You cannot follow the worldly ways of making your way to success. So many people and businesses do miserable things and engage in illegal activities to amass wealth, which does not last long, as explained in Psalms 37:1-2. As believers, you need to have patience after you have paid due diligence to your work so that you can boldly tell the success story of your business to everyone anywhere without fear of being accused of shady deals. Therefore, the blessings of the Lord make you rich and add no sorrow.
When you find yourself in the category of people waiting on the Lord, you will realize that there are times you will be thinking of how to meet immediate needs. Perhaps, the time to pay house rent has come, or maybe the payment of salaries or meeting other financial obligations. You will soon realize that God, the one who sees the end from the beginning, will send forth help, and you will definitely meet those needs and see your business grow. How patient are you with the expectations of your businesses? Remember, It pays to be patient. A little patience saves you from great failure and mess that can bring bad omen to your personality. When you sow a seed, you must be patient to see it grow. Amen. Lamentations 3:25 says, “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.” Amen.

Father Lord, please give me the grace to wait patiently for you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
