“The Lord is good to all, and his tender mercies are over all his works.” Psalm 145:9
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass; it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” In other words, God’s goodness is present in every moment, whether the weather is sunny or stormy. As Psalm 145:9 states, “The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.” When we take a moment to recognize His hand in our lives, we see that even the challenges can be reflections of His love.
Let’s consider the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis. Betrayed by his brothers and sold into slavery, Joseph endured years of hardship before rising to power in Egypt. Through it all, he recognized God’s goodness and purpose. He famously said, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good” (Genesis 50:20). Like Joseph, we must look for the goodness of God even amid our trials, trusting that He is working all things for our benefit.
Isaiah 46:10 says, “I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and all My good pleasure I will accomplish.”
As we walk through life, we are reminded that God is our guiding light. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me” (Psalm 23:4). This assurance empowers us to climb mountains that once seemed insurmountable. With every step we take, we can trust that He walks beside us, instilling courage and strength when we need it most.
In moments of joy and laughter, we must also recognize His presence. The beauty of creation surrounds us – from vibrant city parks to simple blessings like the coins in our pockets. These moments serve as reminders that God’s goodness permeates every aspect of our lives. As we acknowledge His blessings, we become vessels of His love, spreading joy and encouragement to those around us. Amen. Psalm 27:1 says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Prayer for the Day!

May we recognize that even in the storm, You are nurturing something beautiful within us. Remind us of Your light when darkness surrounds us and fill our hearts with joy. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
