Responsibility of Being Prepared! 3
“And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him.” Matthew 25:6
Preparation is the foundation of boldness and faith that God uses to accomplish his purposes. He will prepare you for the day ahead of you, such as the day of joy, success, favor, days of the Lord, and the day of judgment. However, our readiness will determine how boldly we will proceed when opportunity knocks at the door. Because “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17.
The bridegroom is coming is the voice you hear every day, but are you prepared? Are you ready to go out to meet the savior with confidence and courage? Do you have a plan in place to get hold of the opportunity of a life that you are expecting? If so, congratulation. But if not, then this is the time to start preparing for it.
Lack of preparation is the thief of joy in the world. It is the root cause of retrogression and failure to live up to any potential. When you are ready, you can begin the process of living your life of faith as God intended.
“Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.” Matthew 24:44.
Everything that you do must prepare you for the Lord. Your character, the way you walk, the things that you say and do – these are all preparation for what lies ahead. And you must prepare it with the word of truth that comes from God. Your preparation in the word of God will bring you closer to God’s plan. Isaiah 8:20 says, “To the law and the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
Prayer:
1. Holy Ghost, help me always to be ready when great opportunity knocks at my door in Jesus’ name.
2. As 2020 progresses, what has killed others’ dreams will not kill yours! What creates fear in others shall create fame in you! What stops others from reaching their goal will make you a better person in Jesus’ name.
