“The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is he.” Deuteronomy 32:4
Amidst the shifting sands of time, brethren, Jesus is the Rock of Ages, a testament to grace. Thank you for your timeless strength and love. Let us remember the strength and steadfastness He has provided to countless souls. In the words of Psalm 18:2, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer.” Indeed, He has been our refuge in times of trouble, a solid foundation upon which we have built our lives.
We recall how great mountains bowed before Him, as the storms of life raged around us. The winds and seas obeyed His command, reminding us that no challenge is too great when we lean on Him. As it is written in Psalm 46:1, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” He calmed our fears and brought peace to our hearts, standing firm like an unshakeable mountain amidst chaos.
John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
His glory shone brightly like the sun breaking through the clouds after a storm. We have witnessed His power manifest in ways that leave us in awe—like fire that purifies and a great storm that clears the path. Just as Isaiah 40:12 tells us, “Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand?” We are reminded of His infinite wisdom and might, stretching beyond what we can comprehend.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in knowing that the Rock of Ages has always existed, long before the mountains were formed. He is eternal, unchanging, and ever-faithful. As we reflect on His unyielding presence in our lives, let us remember John 10:28, where Jesus assures us, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.”
Prayer for the Day!
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of the Rock of Ages, who has been our anchor and guide. May His spirit continue to inspire us, and may we find strength in His everlasting love. Grant us peace as we carry forward His legacy of faith and strength. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Thank you for proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ Worldwide.
