“Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him since he always lives to make intercession for them.” Hebrews 7:25
Running to God is the best decision one can make. With open arms, He welcomes us into His loving care, and we are never alone. Today’s bible verse assures us that no matter how far we’ve gone or what we’ve done, Jesus will always be there for us. It can be easy to forget that God is always with us when life gets tough. However, if we remember that He’s always there waiting for us with open arms, it can bring a sense of comfort and peace. His love and grace are infinite, which means nothing we do or say could ever push Him away from us.
When you feel overwhelmed and need a safe place to turn, remember that your Father, high above the stars, will hear your prayers of hope. Even when you shed a tear and feel like no one understands the depth of your pain, know that God sees you and is listening. Psalm 121:1 says, “I lift my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” In times of trouble or uncertainty, it can be easy to feel alone or forgotten. However, we must always remember that God is with us every step of the way.
Isaiah 40:26 says, “Lift your eyes on high: Who created all these? He leads forth the starry host by number; He calls each one by name. Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”
When we run to Him for comfort and guidance, He provides us peace beyond understanding. Our heavenly Father knows our hearts intimately and longs for us to trust His plan for our lives. So, remember to run to God wherever you go and whatever you do. He loves and cares for you more than anyone else in this world. You may face challenges or struggles throughout your day, but never forget that God will guide you through them. From morning’s light, until night’s shadows fall, His love and protection will be with you every step of the way.
Even though we may feel alone sometimes, we can always trust God’s promises. He promises never to leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). As long as we turn to Him in prayer and rely on His strength, we will find comfort in even the most difficult situations. Running to God also means seeking His wisdom and direction for our lives. When we trust Him completely, He will lead us down the right path. Amen. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Amen.
Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for your availability in times of need. I can’t do without you.
2. Holy Spirit, help me to run to God with all my heart and lean not on my understanding in Jesus’ name. Amen.
