Seeing God’s Beauty in His Perfection! Part Two
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” Psalm 19:1
We can see God’s beauty in His perfection by reading today’s Bible verse. We can see how perfect and amazing God is by looking at the stars and the sky, even though some people think of God as a being who is old and angry. Someone who is distant and uninvolved in our lives. The truth is that He is far from that. Instead, the Bible tells us that God is a loving Father who desires to have a relationship with us.
One of the ways that we can see God’s love and care for us is by looking at His creation. The world was created by God and is a reflection of His beauty and perfection. Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands. Day after day, they pour forth speech; night after night, they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.” In other words, the world is full of beauty, and it is a glimpse of the wonder of God. We can see His handiwork in the mountains, the stars, the ocean, in every language, voice, and every living thing. When we take the time to look around us, we can see the love and care that God has for us.
Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
God’s ways are perfect, and His thoughts are much higher than ours. We can never fully understand God, but that is okay. We can trust that He loves us and is always there for us. God’s beauty is seen all around us if we only take the time to look. When we see His perfection, we know He is a good and loving Father who desires to have a relationship with us.
When we behold the beauty of God’s perfection, it is a natural response to be in awe of His greatness. Psalm 19 reminds us that the heavens declare the glory of God, and His handiwork is seen in the sun, moon, and stars. As we reflect on God’s wonderful creation, we can also see His goodness, faithfulness, and love for us. This allows us to worship Him with a humble and grateful heart. Remember, the beautiful nature around us manifests God’s perfection. Therefore, give God praise. Amen. Psalm 150:6 says, “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” Amen.
Praise God. Amen.
