Speak Life Over Your Life! 7
“For all the promises of God find their Yes in Christ. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.” 2 Corinthians 1:20.
In the word of God, there is a relevant word for every situation you might be facing in life, but until you locate that Scripture and let it becomes part and parcel of your life before you can command things to come to pass. Mere words cannot change the reality of what is happening in the spiritual world. Remember, we fight not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. (Ephesians 6:12).
The sons of Sceva in Act 19’s tried to cast out the demon with the mere act of faith saying, “I bind you by Jesus, whom Paul proclaims.” However, one of the demons replied, “Jesus, I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” In other words, “please identify who you are in Christ Jesus and how you relate to him.
Likewise, many Christians have lost sight of their true identity in Christ. They have become so caught up in trying to fit into a crowd that they lost connection with Jesus, the author, and finisher of faith. Are you that type of person who has lost faith in Christ, but you continue to believe that you have the power to command? Do you think that God is calling you to look like Christ, but not living like Christ?
God wants to empower you with His authority by teaching you to live according to his will. He wants you to be like Christ, who speaks, and none of His words becomes useless. For example, Peter and John at the beautiful gate when they saw a lame man, Peter said: “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!” Acts 3:6.
1. Thank you, Jesus, for giving me the strength to know you more. `
2. Oh, Lord Jesus, break any powers of weariness and laziness working against me.
3. Holy Ghost, pour Your fresh fire upon me and make me a flame of fire in Jesus’ name.
