Stay With Jesus! 2
“For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage.” Psalm 94:14
Though everyone may have a different opinion about what it means to stay with Jesus, stay with Him to learn and grow to become the best version of the image is a long process. Of course, you might be wondering if Jesus has a quick fix to your problem or the right answer to your questions. I would say that He does have everything to your needs in life.
You remember the quick fix at the wedding when Jesus turned water to wine; the quick fix at the Pool of Bethesda was a pool when Jesus miraculously healed a paralyzed man, and don’t forget the quick fix with the woman of the issue of blood after twelve years of struggling and bleeding. So on and so forth. But after that point, do you still hear anything further about them.
The quick fix is just a temporary solution, which will never get you anywhere. A quick prophetic word can make you feel better, but if you don’t know how things work, you’ll be stuck in a rut. It is like fast food addiction, and if you continue with such addiction without a well-prepared meal often (word of God and prayer), it will only lead to something else.
However, if you want to know God and fully reflect the image of God in your life, then you must stay with Jesus. And I mean really stay with him to learn and grow, because He did not come only with instant gratification, but for long term satisfaction that leads to living a victorious life. If you stay with Jesus, “with joy, you will draw water from the springs of salvation.” Isaiah 12:3
Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for all that you have done for me.
2. I am thankful to you for my health, my family, and my friends.
3. Holy Spirit, please help me find my way back to God so that I will not stick in a rut in Jesus’ name.
4. John14:27; May the peace of the Lord that flows like a river envelop your life and keep it flowing in love and mercy in Jesus’ name. Amen
