Surrender All to God!
“Do not present your members to sin as instruments for unrighteousness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and your members to God as instruments for righteousness.” Romans 6:13
Our existence on earth is not based on trial and error but instead based on the genuineness of God’s love. God didn’t create anyone by mistake or just for a test. We are called to live according to his will and purpose in our lives. That’s why our utmost purpose must be to believe and serve Him. Each of our days should be to seek and serve Him.
The degree of our commitment to God determines how much we trust Him to work things out for us. The more we trust God, the more he works things out for us. We cannot rely on the methods of manipulations, false promise, and other forms of deceptions to get God’s attention or help us. Instead, we must trust God with all our heart and soul because He is faithful to His word and promises. Therefore, let go and let God work things out for you.
Romans 12:1 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.”
You don’t have to always be in charge. If you are going through any hard times in your life, remember this: God has a solution in store and will be unleashed when you trust and obey. Instead of trying harder to solve every issue of life on your own, learn to trust God more. Necessarily, you do not have to react to every criticism and rush to defend yourself. Surrendered hearts show up best when trust in God. The surrendered heart will never hide anything nor hold back anything in fear of losing it.
Though, most of those who claim to be surrendered exempt their money from their object of sacrifice. They are not willing to give up anything for something that is greater and brings God’s glory. Don’t forget that the surrender of all makes it possible for Christians to live a life of faith. Jesus surrendered His entire Self to God’s plan for the salvation of humankind, and yet He loses nothing in the process of giving up everything. Galatians 2:20 says, “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
Prayer:
1. I receive the power and grace too to surrender Lord
2. Psalm 32:8: Holy Spirit, instruct and teach me in the way I should go; counsel me and keep your eye upon me in Jesus’ name. Amen.
