“For by wise guidance you will wage war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.” Proverbs 24:6
In the heart of the wilderness, Moses faced an insurmountable burden. As he led the Israelites to freedom, the weight of their disputes and needs pressed heavily upon him. It was wise Jethro, his father-in-law, who illuminated the path forward, advising Moses to appoint capable leaders to share the responsibility (Exodus 18:17-23). This profound act of delegation didn’t just lighten Moses’ load; it preserved the destiny of a people yearning for the Promised Land.
Through the lens of Proverbs 24:6, we learn that the counsel of many can lead to victory. Just as Jethro’s wisdom empowered Moses, our own teams can multiply our mission. Remember, “Delegation turns a single spark into a bonfire. When we share the load, we multiply the light.” When we come together, hearts united in purpose, we become stronger and smarter. This harmonious partnership mirrors God’s design for His people — to lift each other up in faith and service.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 says, “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
The world needs our collective strength. “Team multiplies mission,” and when we embrace delegation, we not only lighten burdens but also propel ourselves towards our God-given destinies. In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul urges us to entrust the teachings we’ve received to reliable people who will teach others. Herein lies the blueprint for a thriving community; it starts with trust and grows through collaboration.
So let us step forth, empowered by the Spirit, knowing that working together preserves not just our individual destinies, but the destiny of those we serve. We are united in our calling to make a difference, to shine His light brightly in our communities. When we engage in this divine dance of teamwork, we reflect the glory of God in every venture. Amen. 1 Timothy 1:12 says, “I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, that He considered me faithful and appointed me to service.” Amen.

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the wisdom You provide through Your Word. Lord, send helpers into my life and teach me to share the load with others. May my heart be open to collaboration, and may our collective faith ignite a fire of purpose and passion. Help us to preserve our destinies together, reflecting Your love in all that we do.
