In Luke 17:17-19 Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give praise to God except this foreigner?” Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
Think about the account of the ten lepers in Luke 17:15-19. While nine went on their way, one returned to express profound gratitude for his healing. Like that lone leper, let us not forget to acknowledge the many gifts we’ve received — from God, from good friends, and from ourselves. It’s a moment to celebrate and cherish, not to overlook.
Remember, “Thankfulness is our small echo to his vast mercy; his forever-love wraps even our smallest days.” So, take a moment today to express your thankfulness. Psalm 136:1 says, “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.”

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your endless blessings. Thank You for the love that surrounds me each day, for the beauty of nature that brings me peace, and for the strength You grant me in difficult times. I am grateful for my family and friends, who fill my life with joy and laughter. Thank You for the lessons learned through trials, for the moments of laughter that lighten my heart, and for the comfort You provide in my solitude. I am thankful for the opportunities to grow, to learn, and to share my gifts with others. May I always remember to cherish the simple things, to seek joy in every moment, and to share Your love with those around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
