“Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20
My dear brothers and sisters, let us remember the power of praise in our lives. In Psalm 34:1, David declares, I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Just like David found solace in praising God amid his trials, we too can find peace and strength through our praises.
Think about the story of Job, who lost everything but still chose to praise God. Job 1:21 says The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord. Even when faced with overwhelming challenges, Job’s praise paved the way for restoration and blessings.
Job 1:21 says, “And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.”
When we face our own mountains that seem insurmountable, let us hold on to Hebrews 13:15: Through him, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God. Our praises may not instantly move those mountains, but they align our hearts with God’s will and remind us of His mighty presence.
So, my friends, let us cultivate a heart of praise in all circumstances. Let us choose to magnify God instead of magnifying our problems, for it is in praising Him that we gain clarity on how small our obstacles are compared to His greatness, amen. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Amen.
Prayer for the day.
From Psalm 33:22, We pray, Oh Lord, May Your loving devotion rest on us, as we put our hope in You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
