The 2015 Prison Break!
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith is working through love.” Galatians 5:6
On June 6, 2015, an employee at the Correctional Facility helped a prisoner to escape jail because of love. The married mother of three smuggled tools to the inmates in frozen hamburger because of the love she had for the prisoner. Though this story sounds ridiculous, we need to think of what love can do. Jesus Christ laid down his life because of love.
The real sign of genuine faith is not adherence to the set of principles or rituals but of love. When we believe in something, we are willing to put ourselves into the situation of being in the situation. This is what Jesus did for us. He sacrificed his life for us so that we could have eternal life. Romans 5:8 says, “God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
You can shout and jump, but without love, you are jumping for nothing. You can prepare a good meal, but without love, it will be good for nothing. You can buy me an expensive car and a mansion, but without love, all become useless. You can carry a bible and go to church, but without the love of God in your heart, all becomes nothing. Without love and forgiveness in your heart, all our labor becomes useless.
You must not forget that God loves you unconditionally, even when you don’t know it or feel it. However, he allows the mercy to fall on you daily; He conquered the grave of sin by his grace because of his love for you. Therefore, hold on to the author of salvation, the yoke breaker, the chain breaker, the burden-bearer, and the redeemer. Keep him in mind, as you walk through this life with Christ Jesus: he will never leave you.
Jesus Christ is the true redeemer. He is the one who saves us from death by giving us eternal life. He is the one who gives us hope and peace by saving our hearts from despair. He is the one who brings us out of the darkness and into the light, bringing forth a new way of living. He is the one who brings us back to God’s glory and power. Jesus is the true deliverer – “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.” 1 Thessalonian.1:10.
Prayer:
1. Lord, Jesus, I thank you so much for your mercy and grace in my life.
2. Lord, let your love flow in my heart and fill it with your holy spirit. Lord in Jesus name.
3. I paralyzed every satanic opportunity contending against my breakthrough and next level of life, in the name of Jesus.
