Imagine a beautiful mosaic, pieced together with fragments of broken tiles. Each shard tells a unique story, reflecting light in unexpected ways. Just like these tiles, our lives may appear fragmented, but God sees the beauty in each piece. As Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” In His hands, our brokenness becomes a canvas for His grace.
Think of the prodigal son, who wandered far from home. His journey was filled with trials, but it led him back to the loving embrace of his father. This story illustrates that sometimes, we must encounter separation to appreciate the profound love that awaits us. In our moments of longing, we recognize that our worth is not defined by our wounds, that’s why the adage says, “Your wounds are not your worth.”
Isaiah 57:15 says that God, the “high and exalted One,” dwells in heavenly places but also “with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit” to revive them
As we navigate our days, let us remember that God specializes in creating something beautiful from the discarded. As I paraphrase from Isaiah 57:15, “God’s exaltation doesn’t distance Him from us; rather, it draws Him near to the brokenhearted, where true revival begins.” In other words, God’s presence is most profound when we are humble and broken, for in our surrender, we allow Him to piece our lives back together.
“When we view our lives as pieces of art, even the broken ones become essential. Each bit of vulnerability invites comfort and reveals the beauty in our shared humanity. Remember, “Your struggles are not shackles but bridges, guiding you to the identity that was crafted in the heart of Christ.” So, embracing the moment brokenness of life will pave the way for healing and renewal. Matthew 5:4 says, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Amen.

“Heavenly Father, thank You for seeing beauty in our brokenness. Help us to trust in Your loving touch that transforms our lives. May we see ourselves as Your masterpieces, crafted from the intricacies of our experiences. Guide us to share our stories and encourage others to embrace their journeys. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”
