The Blessed Land!
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that cursed thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” Genesis 12:3
God has given us blessings in all things. He gave us life and even blessed us with the earth’s surface to tread upon. He created them all; there are still regional blessings within. There is no land that God has not blessed. Can you say the measures of blessings are not the same? However, irrespective of such regional blessing, the utmost is the presence of God.
Every of God’s dealing is a blessing. We can’t place any other thing above that. So, whether we naturally see the blessing in our Land or nor ask for God’s presence. We were studying Abraham and Lot case. Lot seems smart and wise when he chose the best portion of the Land, but his actions were not pleasing for God’s favor. The right intentions to be successful in our faithfulness. That’s why God made the Land Abraham chose for himself more fruitful and peaceful. He was more blessed than Lot.
Deuteronomy 12:20 says, “When the LORD your God expands your territory as He has promised, and you crave meat and say, “I want to eat meat,” you may eat it whenever you want.”
When God is for and with you, no place will be barren. He shows favor to those who are faithful and follow God’s instructions in detail. Certain blessings could be hidden in divine instructions. Every instruction is to instruct us on the right path. When you misplace the manual, you mishandle the equipment. Hence, instruction is the manual for life. It is a blessing to be obedient to God. It gives us the knowledge of what we need and how much we need it.
Therefore, we are instructed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (the Land): they shall prosper that love thee. Our lands are blessed, but we need to pray God’s presence upon it. When you pray for the Land, you will indeed partake of the blessings of the Land, and you’ll prosper in that Land. Jeremiah 29:7 says, “Seek the prosperity of the city to which I have sent you as exiles. Pray to the LORD on its behalf, for if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
1. I bless You, Lord, for the instruction of today. By the grace of God, I enter into this secret of partaking of the Land’s blessing.
2. Psalms 122:6: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love you.
3. May the Lord expand your territory and give you a voice in the Land in Jesus’ name.
