“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, standstill, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more forever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13–14
Have you ever felt like you were on the brink of defeat? I have. There have been times when life’s overwhelming challenges washed over me like a tidal wave. But in those moments of anxiety, I learned a powerful truth: God fights our battles. As I faced fears that threatened to drown me, I heard His whisper, “The enemy you see today, you will no longer see.”
This promise is beautifully illustrated in Exodus 14:13–14. God instructs Moses to tell the Israelites to stand firm. “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” In times of trouble, it’s easy to panic and spiral into fear, but we must refuse to let anxiety cloud our vision. Psalm 34:4 reminds us, “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” Rest in this assurance, because deliverance is not just possible; it’s a divine guarantee.
John 3:8 says, “The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work”
Reflect on your own life for a moment. What battles are you facing? Perhaps it’s an overwhelming addiction, a toxic relationship, or financial struggles. Remember that with every challenge comes the opportunity for finality in deliverance. Picture your struggles transforming into testimonies, and a trap becoming your setup for a miracle. So, embrace faith over fear; believe that God is poised to change your narrative.
Now, today I declare over you that every oppressive force in your life shall cease! Just as the Israelites witnessed their enemies swallowed by the Red Sea, so will your struggles be removed. Take a step of faith — invite God’s intervention. When you trust Him to act, you become an active participant in a divine setup. “God not only rescues; He removes.” He will finish what He started in your life, freeing you to embrace a future filled with hope. Amen. Psalm 34:4 says, “I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.”
Prayer for the Day!
Heavenly Father, thank You for being our Warrior God. Today, I ask that You bring an end to every cycle of oppression in our lives. Remove our fears and replace them with faith. We trust that the fierce battles we fight transform into powerful testimonies of Your love. Fill us with Your presence, and may we declare with confidence, “The enemy we see today, no more!” In Jesus name, Amen.
