“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:35
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer.” This sentiment by Harriet Tubman reminds us that within each of us lies the potential to hear and share divine truths. As we journey through life, it’s essential to recognize that God communicates with His chosen individuals, whispering messages of hope and purpose. Remember, “God’s word does not return void; it accomplishes what He desires (Isaiah 55:11).” In other words, every prophecy delivered carries the weight of His intention, destined to bring forth transformation.
I remember the story of Samuel in 1 Samuel 3. Young Samuel, serving in the temple, was called by God in the stillness of night. He didn’t recognize God’s voice at first, but with guidance from Eli, he learned to respond, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.” This moment illustrates the beauty of divine communication — how God seeks out those with open hearts and willing spirits to convey His messages. Just like Samuel, we too can cultivate a posture of listening, inviting God to reveal His plans.
1 Corinthians 2:14 says, “The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
Prophecy begins where listening deepens. When we quiet our minds and tune into His whispers, we become vessels for His truth. In the quiet hearts of His messengers, God plants seeds of revelation that grow into profound insights. The foundation of prophecy begins with a trust: a sacred bond between God and His chosen ones. Therefore, embrace this trust, and you will find yourself empowered to speak light into the shadows of uncertainty.
Through these chosen vessels, God’s eternal voice finds expression. Remember, prophecy is not merely a message; it is a meeting between heaven and earth — a bridge that connects us to His divine wisdom. “When you listen with a righteous heart, you are listening to God.” In other words, we must pay attention to the nudges and promptings that guide us toward God’s purpose. Amen. John 10:27 says, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” Amen.
