The Most Important Lesson! Part Two

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he dies, yet shall he live.” John 11:25

The resurrection of Jesus is a testimony to the power of God. He can do what is impossible for us. We can rely on Him to work in our lives and change us into His perfect image. When we trust Him, we can overcome any obstacle in our lives. The resurrection is not only an event that happened to Jesus, but it is also an event that has the power to change lives. The resurrection teaches us that there is always hope for a better future, no matter how bad our situation might seem.

In the book of Genesis 18:14, when God appeared to Abraham, saying, ” Is anything too hard for the Lord? Next year, I will return to you at the appointed time, and Sarah will have a son.” This statement indicates that nothing is impossible for God. This is a comforting thought, especially in difficult times. If we believe that God can do anything, we know there is always hope for a better future. Even when things seem hopeless, we can trust in God’s power to make a change. We can trust him to help us through any difficulty.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

However, along with this fact comes a question you may be asking yourself. If nothing is impossible with God, why isn’t t God helping me right now? I mean, everything is possible, but why doesn’t God intervene to fix my problem? There are many possible answers to this question. Maybe God has a plan for you that you don’t yet understand. Maybe God wants you to learn something from your struggles. Or maybe God knows that you are strong enough to handle whatever you are going through, and His grace is sufficient for you. Nevertheless, it is important to know that God has been working behind the scene to help you get through this difficult time in your life.

Many important lessons can be learned from the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but the most important may be that no matter what happens in this life, we can overcome it through faith in Him. Christ said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die” (John 11:25-26). This promise gives us hope for the future, even amid difficult times. Likewise, Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith, it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and rewards those who seek him.”

Oh Lord, I believe you have the wisdom to turn my tear into joy and my unfavorable circumstance around for your glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.
