“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!” 1 Corinthians 15:57
As a Christian, you have been granted the ultimate authority and power through Jesus Christ. But how well do you make use of this incredible gift? Do you fully understand what it means to have unlimited access to God’s power, grace, and wisdom? The truth is that many believers fail to tap into their full potential because they don’t know how to utilize the authority and power they’ve been given. The Bible teaches us that we are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us (Romans 8:37).
However, if we don’t learn how to walk in this truth, we’ll never experience the victorious life that God intends for us. Therefore, it’s time for Christians everywhere to start taking their rightful place as heirs of God’s kingdom and begin using the authority and power freely given to them. As believers, we are not alone in our journey of faith. Our possession of the filial spirit in relation to God means that we are born of God and have overcome the world. This is because by having faith in Him, we have been given the power to conquer any challenge that comes our way.
1 John 5:4 says, “Because everyone born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world: our faith.”
Remember, through this faith, we can experience a new life and become more like Him. As such, it’s important for us to focus on developing a resemblance to the character of God which Christ has shown us. When we mimic His character traits, we become better versions of ourselves and purer reflections of Him. By doing so, we strengthen our relationship with God and gain valuable insights into how He operates in our lives and how we should operate. Through this process, we learn that everything good comes from above and that all things work together for good for those who love God.
When we embrace and embody our Creator’s qualities, we can live in a state of victory over any obstacle or challenge that comes our way. So being made in God’s image isn’t just about physical appearance (Genesis 1:26-27). It also speaks to our unique abilities and characteristics, such as intelligence, creativity, and compassion. When we recognize that we bear the likeness of God, it allows us to live life with a sense of purpose and meaning because we can draw strength from knowing that the same attributes that make up our Creator are also present within us. Amen. Romans 8:16 says, “The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.” Amen.
Prayer:
Thank you Jesus, for the secret power that helps me to speak with authority and Call out Abba Father.
Holy Spirit, help me not to struggle before I know who I AM in Christ Jesus and what God has created me to be in Jesus’ name. Amen.
