The Unchanging Word!
“The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.” Isaiah 40:8
The unchanging word is a reference to the fact that God has given us eternal life in Christ, and we are not going to be able to live without him. The time spent and different observations in history have shown evidence of the dynamic state of the world. In this uncertain and unpredictable world, principles, and theories, no longer have their trust. Economic methods are no longer effectual to solve fundamental problems. The laws of investment cannot be trusted by a prospective investor anymore.
Nevertheless, there are limited and few things that have been tested unchangeable; one of these particular substances is the Word of God. The word is the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit. Ephesians 6:17. Martin Luther said, “The soul can do without everything except the word of God, without which none at all of its wants are provided for.”
The truth is that the word of God can never fail, even if every other thing will disappoint. Some time ago, I wanted to expand my scope in the business world. I took up courses and seminars that would help me gain more knowledge and to be a better business person. That was great and inspiring! However, all of these theories are not as effective as the biblical principles of finance and business that the Lord showed me in His word.
Believe it or not; the revelations in the word of God are more powerful, genuine, and durable than the amendable theories of this world. That is why “we need to encourage new believers to feed on God’s Word—it is nourishment for the soul.” Billy Graham
From the beginning, the Word of God has been an indisputable groundwork and the source of faith and hope for the world. For true believers, the word of God remains the only pillar we can rest on. So, many things will fade away in this word, but the only assurance we have in this world is the word of God. Shaping our personal world with the word of God makes it unshakable and eternal.
There are kingdom unchanging and trusted principles in the Word in your world; in your businesses, academics, counsel, family, and every other endeavor. More than you have been reading and using the word of God, they are more needed now than ever. The word of the LORD is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens. Psalm 119:89
1. I pray that you help me cling more to your Word and show me the ways and path to tread.
2. O Lord, my heart rejoices with you, oh Lord, my soul rejoices in your word.
3. Lord, give me a word that will fix my world in Jesus name. Amen
