The Unveiling of Jesus!
“He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!” Revelation 22:20
Deuteronomy 29:29 gave us a clear standard about the kingdom, it established the fact that the secret things belong to the Lord, but those revelations belong to believers and their children forever. These secret things may be a result of the fall of man in the garden of Eden because God would never withhold anything from us.
Only God knows the future, knowing the future is not for humankind; the secret things that have been hidden from ages past were revealed to his sons and daughter because we have been given a new life in Christ. This is why we should always keep our eyes and ears on the things to come, especially the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Are you an expectant believer?
Revelation 1:7 says, “Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.”
The writer of Hebrews affirmed that we are in the days when God reveals his plan for the future to those who are his (Hebrews 1: 1-2). Glory to God! What has been hidden from time past has been unveiled, and what is it? God’s redemption plan for his church in the last days was established when the veil of the temple was torn into two from up to bottom (Matt 27: 51)
The purpose is to serve as a reminder to those who would be in this kingdom. When the final coming of Jesus approaches, the victory we possess as children will remain forever with us. This is why we must remember that God’s plan for the saint is to save us and bring us together with Him in eternity with the victorious lamb. The question is ‘are you fit to join when the time comes? If not, you should start preparing for it now because tomorrow might be too late. 1 Thessalonians 5:2 says, “For you, yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.”
1. Thank God for the grace to be counted among God’s children, thank him for unveiling Jesus to you
2. Take a prayer of confession of faith, be intentional about it (Romans 10:10)
