The Word with Faith.
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 10:17.
Faith is the force behind all the metaphysical forces that present the unseen things into a reality that are beyond our understanding. It is a powerful force that can be harnessed in any situation or circumstance and can be used to achieve anything we desire with the word of God. Saint Augustine said, “Faith is to believe what you do not see; the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.”
To an unbeliever, the Word remains a letter to them, and that kills, but to a believer, we have the life and spirit of God. This is the reality we grow to know and understand. Everything we need is encoded in the Word. There is no other place to find the keys to all divine doors rather than the Word of God. Psalm 119:130 says, “The entrance of the words of God gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
The Word of God is the most magnificent propeller of faith. Initially, we understand and strongly have faith in God because we found that living truth from the word of God. So, the word of God is still the foundation of all faith. I can only pray because the Word says everything I ask, God hears, and He would do it. “Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.” (Jeremiah 29:12).
The truth is that we cannot have faith without the Word of God, and the more we read and hear the Word of God, the more faith-filled we become. So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Moreover, once you have the Word of God in you, never hide it, keep using and exercising it.
When challenges come, let the Word of God guide your faith. When you are sick, speak the word, say “with His stripes, I am healed” (paraphrased: Isaiah 53:5). When you need God’s provision, Philippians 4:19 says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. This is our inheritance in Christ, don’t doubt it, and don’t waste it.
Prayer:
1. Father, I thank you for your blessings over my life, I appreciate you for the live-in Your word that you’ve given me.
2. I ask that you strengthen my faith and open my eyes to find more live in Your word today in Jesus name.
3. I pray that you will continue to give me strength and courage in my faith.
