This Is Love!

People throw around the word love, thinking it is just a common buzzword. Many people will type LOL (laugh out loud or lot of laughs) but never really laugh at what you wrote on your page. The same way, some will say ‘I love you’ this season, but their love is not genuine. Therefore, share your love, but don’t rip up your heart.

You don’t know who genuinely loves you anymore because people smile from afar off, but inside them is evil. They are like the devil, who lies in the shadows of your soul to make you believe he is real. But don’t let their fake love fool you, thinking its true because it can only make you feel miserable and worthless.

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God because God is love.” 1 John 4:7–8

However, the philosophy of love is not to make you feel worthless about yourself or others. It is not about pointing to someone else’s faults or shortcomings, because “hatred stirred up strife: but love covered all sins. Proverbs 10:12. Faithful ones with your love in their heart will turn your weaknesses into strength for you.

“In this, the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only son into the world so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” 1 John 4:9–10

Loving one another in spite of our differences is a gift we can give to each other as Christ has given us and commanded us to do. Christ recognized your errors, and yet he forgave you because He sees your beauty, not your fault. Through Christ, God offers us a chance of redemption, and this is what we call love. Micah 7:18 says, “Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger forever because He delights in steadfast love.”

Prayer:
1. Thank you, Jesus, for loving me unconditionally in spite of my sin and my imperfections.
2. You love me, Oh Lord, help me to love unconditionally and forgive others in the same way as you do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
