THIS IS THE DAY OF JOY!

Today is the day of the Lord; every movement and moment in it is a gift from God. Yesterday is logged into the book of the past, tomorrow is a mystery, and God knows about it. Choose to be happy and rejoice in what God has for you this day.

People that chose to declare ‘TODAY’ as the day the Lord has made and ready to rejoice did not say that they are free from pain and suffering but chose to be grateful for the new opportunity of the new day. It’s a matter of choice. The choice is yours. I am thankful for all the blessings that have been given to me by God, for my family, for my friends and colleagues. What about you?

Many people are vaguely unhappy because they hold on to the mistakes and errors of the past. While some people are so worried about how to look tomorrow, but lost focus on today’s opportunity. Corrie Ten Boom said, “Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength- carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.”

Therefore, rejoice for today, because “this is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24. Rejoice in the present moment. Be grateful for the things that you have in your life. Enjoy the good times, and make every single moment count!

Luke 12:25-26 it says, “And which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? If you then are not able to do the least, why are you anxious for the rest?”
