To What Extent!
“Now, without faith, it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.” Hebrews 11: 6
The phrase “to what extent” is a question directed to every believer calling upon the name of God. Because I have seen believers pray and fast for forty days, and yet when trouble arises, they run to other gods for help. Now and then, we pray to God frequently, and we still question ourselves if the prayers have been answered. Such attitudes pose a significant threat to the manifestation of our prayers.
Beloved, the spirit of God has directed me to ask you this question. To what extent can you trust the name of God whom you profess? When a challenging situation arises, can you still hold unto that belief that the Almighty God has a plan of uplifting you? That sounds a little hard, right!
Hebrews 10:23 says, “Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.
1 Corinthians 10:13 reminded us that “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” In other words, it does not matter what you are going through, God’s promise to you is that He will give you a way out.
Of course, great prophecies have gone out about what you are destined to be, and yet nothing seems to be happening. But God says be patient and believe in this journey of life because He is with you always. The more you trust God, the more you experience the intervention of the Holy Trinity. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?”
Prayer
1. Father, thank you for the revelation that I know you are with me in every situation I found myself.
2. Oh Lord, help me to believe in your plan for my life in Christ Jesus.
