Unparalleled Teacher: Show and Tell! Part Two

“Because He suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those tempted.” Hebrews 2:18

Our unparalleled Teacher, Jesus, not only spoke the profound truths of the kingdom of heaven but modeled its teachings in His own life. As a result, we have more than just intellectual knowledge of God’s ways; we also have the heart-transforming power of firsthand experience. Consider how Jesus showed compassion to the hurting, forgiveness to the guilty, and love to the unlovely. He overturned social conventions, healed physical and spiritual ills, and offered hope to the hopeless. He invited everyone—rich and poor, slave and free, male and female—to come to Him for rest and healing.

Jesus is the perfect Teacher because He is Himself the perfect learner. He knows our strengths and weaknesses, our hopes and fears, our longings and disappointments. As we spend time with Him, He shows us how to live in ways that bring light and life to our world. In Christ, we see the epitome of human possibility. His life was one of compassion, service, and love. Despite temptation and trial, Jesus always chose the path of righteousness. He is the perfect example of what we are capable of when we allow God to work through us.

Hebrews 7:28 says, “For the law appoints as high priests’ men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the son, who has been made perfect forever.”

What are some things Jesus has taught you? Please share them with friends and family! In Hebrews 5:2, it says that Jesus was competent to teach others. He was a great teacher and a living example of the Christian life. When we follow Jesus, we can become all that God created us to be. Remember, the best teachers don’t just talk about success; they demonstrate it. And He expected us to demonstrate what we learn to others. Jesus is the ultimate example of success. He is the one who overcame death and sin and offered us the promise of eternal life. When we believe in Him, we become part of His family and can share His victory.

No matter what challenges we face, Jesus is there to help us. He is always willing to forgive and guide us toward righteousness. We can find hope and strength in Him and know we are never alone. Remember, Christ’s teachings are full of life-changing wisdom that applies to every area of our lives. He invites us to come and learn from him and continually provides us with the guidance we need to grow in discipleship. So let us follow Jesus with faith and gratitude, and let us be encouraged by his promise that he will be with us always (even to the end of the age). Amen. Romans 10:4 says, “For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.”

1. Thank you, Jesus, for being an example of human possibility. Thank you for showing us the way to eternal life.
