Unstoppable Perseverance – Achieving Your Dreams! Part Four

“O My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt. Matthew 26:39

When Jesus faced the cross, he prayed to God in Matthew 26:39 that his suffering would pass. But even when it seemed impossible, Jesus persevered and stayed true to his faith. As a result, he became an example of how individuals can make a difference through hard work and determination. Looking at his life as a source of inspiration, we can see that anything is possible when you persevere. We live in a world where opportunity is abundant; however, success can only be achieved through dedication and perseverance.

No matter what path you choose or what challenges you face, there will always be an opportunity for change if you remain steadfast in your beliefs. Whether it’s starting a new business venture or using your talents to help those less fortunate, there are many ways one can use their skills to make an impact on society. There is always an opportunity to make a difference when you have persevered. You are the only thing that can stop you from doing what God has called you to do. But I encourage you today to persevere through. The tunnel may look dark initially, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Romans 12:2 says, “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what the will of God is, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

I am sure you know someone who has persevered in their life even when they doubt what they will achieve. Jesus Christ knew himself as the savior; he knew when and how he would die. But in the garden of Gethsemane, He asked God while He fell on His face and prayed (Matthew 26:39). In the garden of your Gethsemane (oil press), you might be tempted to think that you are going through a tough time. Under the intense pressure, you might ask if there was another way around it. If the answer is no, remember you have been given the opportunity to live out the purpose of life. It’s up to you whether you choose to live according to that purpose.

Jesus knew there was no other way around it, and he stuck with what he knew, which is the will of the Father, and fulfilled his mission of laying down his life for us. He didn’t give up on us; instead, He won everything for us in his wrestling and made us victorious in our struggles. Jesus never loses sight of his purpose. He always kept going until He declared, “it is finished! Amen. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but power, love, and self-control.” Amen.

Prayer:
1. Oh Lord, thank you for your steadfast love and mercy over my life.
2. Psalm 29:11: Dear Lord, give me strength and peace of mind in Jesus’ name. Amen.
