Using Your Testimony!
“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16
Living under the awesomeness of God’s grace and mercy is an opportunity to show forth His glory and power. It is also a chance to demonstrate the love of God by showing others how much He cares. It is a privilege of every moment that God has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light every single day. Hallelujah!
Every heartbeat is a beauty about the blessing that God has given us. Anything short of this will bring about the mockery of God’s power by people who don’t believe in God. You must decide to be a grace to God’s kingdom and not a disgrace. Deliberately intend never to under-represent or misrepresent God by consciously demonstrating God’s power, His will, and the splendor of His glory.
1 Peter 2:9 says, “You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
Personal stories and testimonies are the cheapest to use than principles to win a soul. Generally, stories captivate and help make the road straight for the gospel to enter others’ people minds. There are probabilities that many people who won’t accept the Bible’s authority will listen to a humble and personal story.
Undoubtedly, you must have a story for every experience in which God has helped you. You should make a list of all the circumstances and crises that God has brought you through. Use the blessing and God’s grace you experience as a testimony. Then, be sensitive and use the story that the next unbeliever you meet can be saved through. Revelation 12:11 says, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
Prayer:
1. Dear Lord, bless me with the strength and wisdom to share my faith with others.
2. May your life turnaround greatly for someone’s lifting in Jesus’ name.
