While You are Waiting! 2
Yes, while you are waiting, God might seem harsh to you; he might give you strict instructions to follow. While you are waiting, you might lose something you value so much, and whereas it is a hindrance to God’s intervention in your life. Therefore, don’t be upset about it, no matter what happens, but stay humble.
“God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord, is faithful.” 1 Corinthians 1:9
God may choose to answer your prayer quickly. However, there may be a time when you need to wait for Him to answer you graciously. Therefore, do not be offended by it. Instead, keep praying and asking God for help or guidance in the meantime. Remember, God knows your name, he knows your heart, and he knows the best time to answer your prayer.
“Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
Remember, a continental dish is made with plans and preparation with customers who are willing to wait patiently for a healthy meal. But fast-food restaurants don’t have that luxury. Instead, they serve their customers with a sense of urgency and anticipation to satisfy their hunger, but not much about the health. Likewise, while you are waiting, remember that God has a grand plan for you.
Delay is not a denial of God’s will to answer your prayers. Instead, it is moment by moment of preparation for what lies ahead. Your integrity, patience, faith, and obedience to God will be tested because they are essential to abundant blessings in this life. When you wait for God to answer your prayers, then there is no room for doubt or fear. Therefore, “Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:23
Prayer
Father, forgive me for ever doubting you; now that I know more about your love for me. Holy Spirit helps me not to forget about the faithfulness of God. Amen
