“Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” John 8:58
As we look up into the night sky, we can’t help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. The vast expanse of space is home to countless stars, each with a unique story. But among all these celestial bodies, one name stands out: Jesus. Who is He among the stars? How does His divine nature fit into this infinite universe? Jesus represents something beyond our understanding of time and space. He is the embodiment of love and grace, unbound by earthly constraints. Yet at the same time, His teachings have guided humanity for centuries, inspiring us to seek greater meaning in our lives and strive for a better future.
When we consider Jesus with the stars above us, it’s important to remember that He is not limited by physical boundaries or limitations. The apostle Paul wrote, “For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9). Jesus is the incarnation of Deity. In Him, we see God’s nature, character, and perfections. The Bible also says, “And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power” (Hebrews 1:3). Jesus is the living embodiment of God’s nature and character. He is the perfect expression of all that God is.
2 Corinthians 4:6 says, “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”
When Jesus walked on this earth, He was infinitely greater than us in His divine nature. But through His incarnation, death, and resurrection, He has bridged the gap between us and God. Now, we can have a personal relationship with Him through faith in Christ. Although you may not see Jesus in terms of His divine nature, He is near to us in His love and care. He is always available to us in times of need. And one day, we will be with Him in Heaven, where we will experience His infinite love and glory firsthand. Jesus Christ is a treasure sent from Heaven above, and we are blessed to have him as our everlasting friend.
He is the Light of the world, shining bright in even the darkest times. His love and grace guide us through life’s challenges, providing comfort and hope when everything seems lost. His teachings show us how to live a life of kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and faith. As we walk through our journey on earth, it can be easy to feel lost or overwhelmed. But Jesus is always there for us – a beacon of Light that shines brightly in the darkness. When we turn to him in prayer and meditation, we can feel his presence around us like a warm embrace. How much strength we can draw from this connection with Him is amazing. Luke 19:10 says, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Amen.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to know you more; whether through reading scripture, meditating on your teachings, or simply spending quiet time with you, I would love to be guided towards a deeper understanding of who you are. Amen.
